AURORA was the supervising member of the project group Air Conditioning for the Genius Cab.
The AURORA air conditioning system is a vital feature of convenience of the Genius Cab and
was developed in cooperation with Bosch, Fritzmeier, Grammer, and RT-Filtertechnik.
The AURORA-CAN controller is equipped with state-of-the-art software for management and
control of climate functions and constitutes an integral interface to cluster partners.
All details were defined, designed and successfully implemented during weekly online meetings.
Users are able to select climate functions either manually or choose automatic control via an
operator terminal featuring self-explanatory control elements shown in an attractive design
on a display.
The control software of the air conditioning system caters to a vast range of operator comfort
demands suited to various climate zones all over the world.
